CALLED TO THE NATIONS
Matthew 28:18-19, And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations……”
Father God wants every tribe, every nation, every people to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Rick Warren – “Every believer has a ministry in the Body of Christ and every believer has a mission in the world.”
John 20:21 – As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.
Every believer is a “sent one.”
Every believer is a missionary for Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:19 – Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.
Nations – Ethnos: people groups
Mark 16:15 – Go into all the world and preach the gospel.
Luke 24:47 – That repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name to all nations.
How can every believer be a part of helping to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ?
WORSHIP
The Great Commission flows out of an encounter with the Risen Lord Jesus in worship.
Matthew 28:17 – When they saw Him, they worshipped Him; but some doubted.
Acts 13:2 – As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
Worship is the motivation for missions and the goal of missions:
Revelation 15:4 – For all nations shall come and worship before You.
Revelation 7:9 – After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.
PRAY
Psalm 2:8 – Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance and the ends of the earth for your possession.
We want to pray for unreached people groups.
Unreached People Group – Any population of people insulated from the Gospel.
1974 – 19,000 unreached people groups
1996 – 12,000 unreached people groups
2010 – 8,000 unreached people groups
Today – 6,900 unreached people groups
Matthew 24:14 – And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
We want to pray for missionaries who are sharing the Gospel around the world.
GIVE
We give to those who are going.
Matthew 10:8 – Freely you have received, freely give.
Philippians 4:18 – Indeed I have all and abound. I am full having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.
Philippians 4:19 – And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
GO
The Holy Spirit is calling us to go.
Matthew 28:19 – Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations
Mark 16:15 – Go into all the world and preach the Gospel
Matthew 28:20 – And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Message – I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.

What nations, people groups, and missionaries is the Holy Spirit asking you to pray for?
Is there a specific missionary or missions group the Lord would have you give into in addition to your regular giving?
