What does a heart for the lost look like?

A HEART TO SEARCH

What’s most valuable in your life?

Jesus is ultimately wanting your value system to shift to His…. That you would leave the 99(also valuable) in pursuit of the one who is missing.

As we pursue God, our priorities should start to line up with His priorities.

2 Peter 3:9b(NLT) – He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent.

If you are feeling left in the wilderness then maybe you need to try to join Jesus in looking for the lost sheep.

What is dirty in the eyes of the world, is of great value to Jesus.

Passion overcomes obstacles.

A HEART THAT OVERCOMES FEAR

2 Timothy 1:7 -For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

2 Timothy 1:8 – So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don’t be ashamed of me, either, even though I’m in prison for Him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good news.

A HEART THAT CELEBRATES

Luke 15:5(NLT) – And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders.

Luke 15:6(NLT) – When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, “Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.”

Luke 15:7(NLT) – In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God that over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away.

Heaven celebrates when even one person comes to Jesus Christ!

Heaven is inviting us to celebrate the lost being found, the sick being healed, and the broken being restored.

The Holy Spirit wants every believer to experience the joy that comes from partnering with Him and seeing people come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd!

John 10:11 – I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
