Answer the call to something bigger

Ephesians 1:17-19 –  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

Enlightened here in the Greek is “photizo”– root word for photography.

Alternate of verse 18 – “I would that God would cause your eyes to be opened to a massive flash of light so that you could see His glory and purpose for you – that it would be burnt into the negative of your own life and create a positive image of the purpose for which he created you.” – Jack Hayford

Grace was given. – Ephesians 3:8

Ephesians 3:9-10(ESV) – and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 3: 9(NKJV) – to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery

Ephesians 3:16-19 –  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height –  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Live bigger on the outside

John 17:21(NLT) – I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.

Ephesians 4:11-13(NIV) – So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Ephesians 1:19-20a(TPT) – I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead
