EVERY BELIEVER IS CALLED WITH A HOLY CALLING

2 Timothy 1:8-9“Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the Gospel according to the power of God, Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.”

2 Timothy 1:10-11“But has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel, to which I was appointed a preacher, and apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.”

Growing up, a sense of calling was usually limited to pastors and missionaries.

The teaching of the New Testament is that every believer is called!

Every believer is called into a relationship with Jesus Christ and into ministry serving Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 1:9a “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling.”

To Call – Kaleo – to invite, to summon, God’s call to participate in the blessings of the Kingdom.

I AM CALLED!

Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”

Matthew 28:19 “Go and make disciples of all nations.”
