NEW SEASON
Isaiah 43:18(NKJV) – Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.
Isaiah 43:19(NKJV) – Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth, shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:20(NKJV) – The beast of the field will honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen.
Isaiah 43:21(NKJV) – This people I have formed for Myself, they shall declare My praise.
New Thing – New, Fresh, Unprecedented
Jeremiah 29:11(NIV) – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
How do we walk into this New Season?
1. STEP OUT OF THE PAST
Isaiah 43:18(NIV) – Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
Isaiah 43:18(NLT) – But forget all that – it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
2 Corinthians 5:17(NIV) – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here.
2 Corinthians 5:16 (NIV)– So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
2. STEP INTO HIS PRESENCE
Isaiah 43:19(NKJV) – I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 44:3(NKJV) – For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring.
Mark 2:22(NKJV) – But new wine must be put into new wineskins.
3. STEP UP TO PRAISE
Isaiah 43:21(NKJV) – This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise.
Colossians 1:16(NKJV) – All things were created through Him and for Him.
1 Peter 2:9(NKJV) – But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Romans 4:20(NKJV) – He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.
