Greater Works
GREATER WORKS
John 14:12 – Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and
greater works then these he will do, because I go to My Father.
Our God is a Miracle-working Heavenly Father!
Jeremiah 32:17 – Ah, Lord God! Behold you have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power
and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.
Matthew 19:26 – With God all things are possible!
Luke 1:37 – For with God nothing will be impossible!
Mark 9:23 – All things are possible to him who believes!
John 14:12 – Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and
greater works than these he will do because I go to My Father.
John 14:13 – And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the
Son.
The works that Jesus did do, He wants to continue to do through us.
1. BELIEVE
John 14:12 – Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also.
Believe – Put faith in, trust in, think to be true, put something into the care of another.
John 14:6 – Jesus said to them, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through Me.
John 14:9 – He who has seen Me has seen the Father.
Matthew 17:20 – If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to
there and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Mark 9:23 – All things are possible to him who believes.
2. RECEIVE
John 14:12 – And greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father.
John 16:7 – Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not do
away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you.
John 7:37-38: If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture
has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
John 7:39 – But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the
Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
RECEIVE HIS POWER! RECEIVE HIS ANOINTING!
Acts 1:8 – You shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.
Power – Dunamis, miracle-working power
3. ASK
John 14:13 – And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the
Son.
To ask in Jesus name is to ask in agreement with His character, His nature, His heart, and His Word.
Our motivation? That the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13

4. FOLLOW
John 5:19 – Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the
Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
Romans 8:14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.
We are invited to live a life of miracles.
