Tamarisk Tree – Its evergreen leaves collect water vapor from the moisture in the air during the night, and when the sun radiates its heat, the droplets evaporate and produce a cooling system.

El Olam – Everlasting God, Eternal God

Olam – Look until you can’t see any further, vanishing point, eternity.

God lives in eternity.

Isaiah 57:15a

For thus says the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose Name is Holy.

Psalm 90:2

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God.

El Olam has no beginning and no end.

Revelation 4:8

The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”

“I AM means ‘I am the Eternal One.’” – Rodman Williams

He is the Unchanging, Never-Ending, Everlasting, Heavenly Father.

1. Our God Loves Us with an Everlasting Love

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.

2. Our God Holds Us in His Everlasting Arms

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.

Isaiah 40:28

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

Isaiah 40:29

He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.

Isaiah 40:30-31

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

We can lean on Him, trust in Him, rest in Him, be strong in Him.

3. Our God Offers Us Everlasting Life

The Everlasting Father offers us everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ the Everlasting Son.

John 3:16 (KJV)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 17:3 (NKJV)

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

We can live forever with Jesus Christ.

We can live life with the long-range view in mind: Tamarisk trees take 400 years to reach full height. Abraham was planting for future generations.

Our God is El Olam – The Everlasting God who loves us with an Everlasting Love, holds us in His Everlasting Arms, and offers us Everlasting Life through faith in Jesus Christ.
