ONE BY THE BLOOD

CORE VALUE – WE VALUE UNITY OF THE BODY THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Ephesians 4:1 (NKJV)

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.

Ephesians 4:2-3

With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:4-6

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Repentance, reconciliation, and unity in the Body of Christ opened the door for revival and transformation in the culture and in the nation.

Psalm 133:1-2

Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.

Psalm 133:3

It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion, for there the Lord commanded the blessing – life forevermore.

John 17:21

That they all may be one, as you Father are in Me, and I in you, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Acts 2:1

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Ephesians 4:4-6

There is one Body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Unity is not sameness.

We are unique, but still united in Jesus Christ!

We are already one through the Blood of Jesus Christ!

Ephesians 4:3

Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Endeavor – Make every effort, give it everything you’ve got!

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV)

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.

4. Walk in Acceptance

Ephesians 4:2

With all lowliness and gentleness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love.

Bearing – accept, endure, bear with, put up with

Where do we get these four godly traits? In Christ!

A. Surrender to Him

B. Put on these character traits by faith

Colossians 3:12-13

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
