HEALING RAIN
Joel 2:21-22 (KJV) – “Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done marvelous things! Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; for the open pastures are springing up, and the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield their strength.”
Joel 2:23-24 – “Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you- the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.”
“An enormous plague of locusts had stripped the countryside of all vegetation and destroyed the pastures of all livestock. Famine and drought had seized the entire land; people and animals were dying.” – Spirit-Filled Life Bible
Joel 2:12-13 – “‘Now therefore,’ says the Lord, ‘Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.’ So rend your heart and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.”
Joel 2:17a – “Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar; let them say, ‘Spare Your people, O Lord, and do not give Your heritage to reproach.’”
2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

1. Let The Rain of The Spirit Bring Hope

1 Kings 18:41 – “Then Elijah said to Ahab, ‘Get up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.’”

2. Let The Rain of The Spirit Bring Healing
Joel 2:25a – “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”
Joel 2:26 – “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the Name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame.”
Wondrously – to perform a miracle, wonder, or supernatural deed
Acts 8:5-6 – “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.”
Acts 8:7-8 – “For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed, and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city.”
3. Let The Rain of The Spirit Bring a Great Harvest
Joel 2:24 – “The threshing floor shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.”
Amos 9:13 – “‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; the mountains shall drip with sweet wine.”

How do we receive this healing rain?
Acts 3:19 – “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”

Father God, we receive the healing rain of the Holy Spirit into every area of our lives in Jesus’ Name.
