KINGDOM INVASION

Matthew 4:17 – “From that time, Jesus began to preach and to say, ‘Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’”

When God came into our town, the vegetables started growing.

The Kingdom of God invaded the city of Almolonga!

Matthew 4:16 – “The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.”

Matthew 4:17 – “From that time, Jesus began to preach and to say, ‘Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’”

Preacher – a herald from the king with an official proclamation

Repent – to change your mind, or your thinking, to turn from sin, or from idols

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand – it is here!

Mark 1:14-15 – “Now after John was put into prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the Gospel.’”

The Kingdom of God is the rule and reign of Jesus, the King.

Where Jesus rules, the Kingdom has come!

Matthew 4:17 (MSG) – “Change your life, God’s Kingdom is here.”

His Kingdom is a Kingdom of Freedom and Deliverance

Matthew 12:28 – “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the Kingdom of God has come upon you.”

His Kingdom is a Kingdom of Healing Power

Matthew 4:23 – “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.”

His Kingdom is a Kingdom of Abundance

Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

His Kingdom is a Kingdom of Miracles

Luke 1:37 – “For with God nothing will be impossible.”

His Kingdom is a Kingdom of Reconciliation and Shalom

John 13:35 – “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

 

1. Be Born into The Kingdom of God

John 3:3a – “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

John 3:5 – “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.”

John 3:7 – “Do not marvel that I said to you, you must be born again.”

Repent, Believe, and Receive!

 

2. Live Life in The Kingdom of God

Colossians 1:13-14 (NLT) – “For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His Dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.”

I HAVE BEEN RESCUED FROM THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS AND PLACED IN THE KINGDOM OF JESUS CHRIST. I AM FORGIVEN AND FREE IN JESUS’ NAME!

Romans 14:17 – “For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

 

3. Be an Agent of The Kingdom of God

Matthew 5:14 – “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Heaven wants to transform us and then transform others through us.

We can’t be sure we’ll survive this. Please Cassie, don’t wait one more minute. Invite Jesus Christ into your life right now!

1. Are you living under the rule and reign of Jesus the King?

2. Are there any areas of your life, attitudes, or actions that are not under the rule and reign of Jesus?

3. If there are areas, attitudes, or actions not under His rule, are you willing to repent and surrender those areas of your life to Jesus Christ?

4. What is one step you can take to live more fully in the Kingdom of God?

5. What is one step you can take to help someone else enter into the Kingdom of God?
