Matthew 6:33 – But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
70% of all households in America live paycheck to paycheck.
Matthew 6:25 – Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life.
Worry – to be troubled, to be anxious
Matthew 6:26 – Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Matthew 6:33 – But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
How do we steward the finances God has entrusted to us for His Glory?
GET A VISION FROM GOD FOR YOUR FINANCES.
The Holy Spirit wants to put a vision of financial peace and abundance into our hearts.
Habakkuk 2:2 – Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
Habakkuk 2:3 – Though it tarries wait for it; because it will surely come.
Practical steps for walking into the vision of financial peace and freedom:
SPEND WISELY
James 1:5 – If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Old Farmer – “If your out-go exceeds your increase, your upkeep is gonna be your downfall.”

1 Chronicles 29:11 – For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours.
SAVE FAITHFULLY
Dave Ramsey – “Ten to Fifteen percent of our budget should be going to savings.”
Start with an emergency fund of $1,000.
Once we have an emergency fund in place, begin to pay off debt; credit cards first.

Sign on a rural road – Pray for good harvest, but keep on hoeing.
GIVE GENEROUSLY
Dave Ramsey – “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
Money is like manure. If you leave it in a pile, it stinks. But if you spread it around it does a lot of good.
Beyond the tithe, we want to sow into missions, missionaries, pro-life ministries, evangelism, and helping the needs of others.
2 Corinthians 9:6 – But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Proverbs 28:27 – He who gives to the poor will not lack.
If He can get it through you, He will get it to you.
