Show Mercy Instead of Judgement

 Matthew 5:7 (ESV) Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

 Matthew 7:1-5 (NIV) Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?  How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Commit to Never Go to Bed Angry

 Ephesians 4:26-27 (MSG) Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry – but don’t use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the devil that kind of foothold in your life.

 1 Cor. 13:7 (AMP) – Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].

Lay Down Your Life for Your Spouse

 John 15:13 (NLT) There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

 Matthew 16: 25 (TPT) For if you choose self-sacrifice and lose your lives for my glory, you will continually discover true Life. But if you choose to keep your lives for yourselves, you will forfeit what you try to keep.

Come to the Lord Daily with an Open Heart  

 2 Corinthians 3:16 (TPT) But the moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted, and they see.
