James 5:16 NKJ

Confess your sins one to another and pray for each other that you may be healed, because the fervent effective prayer of a righteous man avails much.

God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, but healing comes when we confess our sins to each other.

Romans 12:2 NKJ

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Psalm 34:15-16 NLT

the eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; His ears are open to their cries for help. But the Lord turns His face against those who do evil; He will erase their memory from the earth.

Psalm 34:17-19

 The Lord hears His people when they call to Him for help. And He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirit’s are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to their rescue each time.”

Isaiah 58:6

Is this not the fast which I choose, to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free and break every yoke?

Jesus came to Save- Greek: Sozo- to save that is to deliver or protect, heal.

Do believers need deliverance?

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NASB

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

2 Corinthians 10:5-6

We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.

Deliverance - the process of dismantling structures of thought that give our authority to enemy beings and oppose the proper enthronement of God. We then can expel them from our lives and reinstate God as King over all areas- our Body, Soul and Spirit.

1. Repent- Matthew 4:17 Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand

2. Forgive- Matthew 6:14... it’s essential to forgive to receive forgiveness

3. Renounce agreements with lies/ ungodly beliefs- God is a covenanting God who won’t share!

4. Bind/Break- Genesis 1:28... we are recovering here our God-delegated authority that was given away when we came into agreement, take it back!

5. Blessing (God gifts)- Psalm 103:2-6... receive His benefits (they are many!)
