How do we respond to this powerful Name today?

1. We Pray

Psalm 122:6

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.”

B. We pray for the Palestinian people, and all Muslim people.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

C. We pray for our nation to stand with Israel.

I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.

“Those who fight with Israel, fight with Him.” – John Hagee

2. We Stand

Ephesians 6:13

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

We stand against the powers of darkness that hate Israel and hate believers in Jesus.

3. We Turn

We turn with all of our hearts to the Living God, the God of Israel.

We turn away from idols and we turn to the Living God.

Colossians 1:18b

That in all things He may have the preeminence.

4. We Build an Altar

Altar – A place of sacrifice, a place of worship

Genesis 8:20a

Then Noah built an altar to the Lord.

Genesis 12:7

Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land,” And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

For the believer, the altar is a place of worship and prayer.

5. We Drink from the Well

John 4:5

So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

John 4:6

Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus, therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.

John 4:13-14
