Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29:12-13 NKJV

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

“The graveyard is the wealthiest place in all creation.” Wayne Cordeiro

“Sometimes I walk through graveyards and speculate how many unfulfilled promises and untapped dreams lie dormant under my feet.” Wayne Cordeiro

“My motto in life is ‘Die Empty!’” Wayne Cordeiro

There is a God-given dream inside every person: a dream, a destiny, a plan and a purpose.

Every believer is called to be a dream releaser in the lives of others.

1. GET A NEW HEART

Acts 4:36-37

And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite from the country of Cyprus, having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

Parakletos – One who comes along beside us, one who speaks up for us, helps us, and encourages us.

Ezekiel 36:26a

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.

2. GET NEW EYES

1 Samuel 16:7b

For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

Revelation 3:18c

Anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Acts 9:26

And when Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples; but they were all afraid of him and did not believe he was a disciple.

Acts 9:27

But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

3. GET A NEW BOLDNESS

Sometimes dream releasers must call forth the dreams and destinies they see that are hidden inside people.

Acts 11:23

When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord.

Acts 11:25-26

Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to seek Saul. And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

Dream Releasers encourage people to step out of fear and step into their God-given dream and destiny.

4. GET A NEW PERSPECTIVE

A. Dream Releasers know that one of the greatest joys in life is to help someone discover and walk out their God-given dream and destiny.

B. Dream Releasers know that God’s dreams for our own lives are often released as we help release the God-given dreams of others.

C. Dream Releasers rejoice when those they pour into go far beyond them.

Acts 13:2

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I called them.”

Acts 15:12

Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles.

Acts 15:35

Paul and Barnabas also remained in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

“The reason we are still alive is that we are carrying something inside of us that this generation needs.” Wayne Cordeiro
