WHAT GIFT DO I BRING?
1. The Gift of Gold
Gold is a gift for a King!
1 Kings 10:14 (NLT)
Each year Solomon received about 25 tons of gold.
Matthew 12:42
The Queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.
JESUS IS THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS! (Revelation 19:16)
JESUS IS THE RULER OVER THE KINGS OF THE EARTH! (Revelation 1:5b)
We honor and worship the King with our tithes and offerings.
Proverbs 3:9
Honor the Lord with your possessions, and the first fruits of all your increase.
Faith is believing God and His Word.
1 Peter 1:7 (ESV)
So that the tested genuineness of your faith–more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire–may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
This morning, we bring to the King of all Kings, the gift of gold.
2. The Gift of Frankincense
Psalms 141:2 (NKJV)
Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

3. The Gift of Myrrh
Myrrh means bitter!
His Gift:

They presented unto Him gifts of…myrrh.
His Temptation:

Mingled with myrrh, but He received it not.
His Death:

A mixture of myrrh and aloes…
His Resurrection:
Revelation 2:8b
…was dead, and is alive.
Our Gift:

…present your bodies…
Our Temptation:

No longer should live the rest of his life in the flesh…
Our Death:

I am crucified with Christ.
Our New Life:

And your life is hid with Christ in God.
